Christopher E. Pelkey

Chris concentrates his practice on transactional issues, including residential and commercial real estate, wills and trusts, and business formation and advising.
He attended the University of Vermont where he received his B.A. in Biology. He then went on to earn his J.D., cum laude, and a General Practice Program Certificate, from Vermont Law School. While at Vermont Law School, he was on the dean’s list in multiple semesters, and earned six academic excellence awards for achieving the highest grade in his classes.
Prior to joining Valsangiacomo, Detora & McQuesten, P.C., Chris clerked at a Burlington real estate law firm, and spent twelve years in various roles at a Vermont-based health insurance provider. He is admitted to the Vermont Bar, and a member of the American Bar Association and Vermont Bar Association.
A Central Vermont native, Chris and his fiancé live in Barre Town. In his free time Chris enjoys spending time relaxing by campfires, snowmobiling, attending sporting events, and exploring back roads.
